Accepting clients 8+, teens, and adults.  Julie gained her clinical experience working with The Children’s Guild, providing client-centered compassionate care to children, adolescents, and their families, earning her the Braveheart Award. Trained with a trauma-focused lens, she has helped clients with emotional and behavioral issues such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem and conduct disorders. With a warm and non-judgmental approach, Julie will meet you where you are to develop an effective treatment plan to support and empower you in your journey, using evidence-based therapeutic treatments such as ARC, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT and EMDR, to reach your goals for optimal mental health and wellness potential.

Julie Huntington is a board certified Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland. She holds a BA from University of Maryland, College Park, and a MSW in Social Work from University of Maryland School of Social Work in Baltimore, Maryland. Professional experience includes work in mediation, conflict resolution, guardianship, EAP, and adolescent residential outpatient care at Chestnut Lodge Hospital.
